MANKATO — The Ridgewater baseball team split a doubleheader with St. Cloud Technical & Community College on Sunday at ISG Field.
Ridgewater opened with a 13-2 five-inning victory over the Cyclones. St. Cloud then beat the Warriors 7-2.

The games were originally scheduled for Willmar and St. Cloud, but were moved to the turf field at ISG Field.
In Game 2, Ridgewater (3-9) out-hit St. Cloud 9-8, but couldn’t manufacture enough runs to beat the Cyclones.
Max Athmann, Andrew Prieve and Sergio Fernandez led the Warriors offensively. Athmann, a sophomore from Paynesville, went 2-for-4 from his leadoff position. Prieve, a sophomore from Hutchinson, was 2-for-4 with a triple and a run scored. Fernandez, a sophomore from Willmar, was 2-for-4 with a double and an RBI.
In Game 1, Ridgewater’s Joe Liebl tossed a five-inning complete game and the Warriors had 14 hits to beat St. Cloud (7-11).
Liebl, a left-hander from Wabasso, struck out seven, walked three and scattered six hits.
Elliot Domagala and Blake Morris led the offense. Domagala, a freshman from Luverne, went 3-for-3 with a double, a walk, a run and an RBI. Morris, a freshman from Dassel-Cokato, went 3-for-3 with a double, a run and two RBIs.
The teams continue their series with two more games beginning at 10:30 a.m. Monday at ISG Field.
