MANKATO — The Ridgewater College baseball team lost a pair of games Monday to St. Cloud Technical & Community College on Monday at ISG Field.
Ridgewater fell 7-6 and 11-1 in five innings in the Minnesota College Athletic Conference doubleheader to fall to 3-11 on the season. St. Cloud is 9-11.

In Game 2, the Warriors managed two hits off Cyclones right-hander Evan Acheson. Acheson, a sophomore from Rocori, struck out seven and walked two, allowing one earned run in the complete-game effort.
Sergio Fernandez went 1-for-2 with a walk and two stolen bases and Garrett Kelly was 1-for-2 with an RBI and stolen bases for Ridgewater. Fernandez is a sophomore from Willmar. Kelly is a freshman from Dassel-Cokato.
In Game 1, St. Cloud scored four runs in the bottom of the sixth inning to erase a 6-3 Ridgewater lead. The Warriors had scored four in the top of the fifth to wipe out the Cyclones’ 3-2 advantage.
Fernandez again led the way for Ridgewater. He went 2-for-3 with a double, a walk and two runs scored. Andrew Prieve, a sophomore from Hutchinson, went 1-for-3 with a triple, a walk, a run and an RBI. Blake Morris also tripled and drove in two runs for the Warriors. Morris is a freshman from Dassel-Cokato.
Ridgewater (3-11) is scheduled to play Central Lakes College of Brainerd in a doubleheader beginning at 1 p.m. Saturday in Willmar.
