Come the end of the night, the first set of tickets to the College World Series can be punched with a super regional series victory.

Two of those possible teams are No. 5 North Carolina and Louisville, both of whom made loud statements with their bats in Game 1 of the Chapel Hill and Louisville Super Regionals, respectively. The Tar Heels look to make it back to the CWS for the second consecutive season, while the Cardinals, who have already caused havoc this postseason, are vying for their first trip back to Charles Schwab Stadium since 2019.

Several national seeds will take the diamond in super regional play on June 7, including defending national champion No. 14 Tennessee.
