DAVENPORT, Fla. — St. John’s senior third baseman Joe Becker broke former teammate Ethan Roe’s program record for home runs with the 26th of his career in the Johnnies’ 11-0 shutout of Rutgers-Camden on Thursday, March 20.
The victory was the 899th of SJU head coach Jerry Haugen’s storied career. The game was a nine-inning contest, but ended after the seventh inning due to the 10-run rule.
