
A 64-team NCAA Tournament field was announced Monday to determine a 2025 Division I college baseball national champion.
The tournament’s 16 regional host teams are: Arkansas, Auburn, Clemson, Coastal Carolina, Florida State, Georgia, LSU, North Carolina, Ole Miss, Oregon, Oregon State, Southern Miss, Tennessee, Texas, Vanderbilt and UCLA.
Tennessee (43-16) is a No. 14 national seed and will host a Knoxville Regional, Friday-Sunday, at Lindsey Nelson Stadium. No. 2 seed Wake Forest (36-20), No. 3 seed Cincinnati (32-24) and No. 4 seed Miami University (35-21) will also compete in the Knoxville Regional.
The Knoxville Regional winner will advance to face a winner from the Fayetteville Regional, hosted by No. 3 national seed Arkansas (43-13). No. 2 seed Kansas (43-15), No. 3 seed Creighton (41-16) and No. 4 seed North Dakota State (20-32) will also compete in the Fayetteville Regional.
Super regionals are scheduled for June 6-9 and the College World Series is slated for June 13-23 at Charles Schwab Field Omaha in Omaha, Nebraska.
