College baseball: Top-ranked UW-Whitewater wins three of four vs. UW-La Crosse

WHITEWATER — After lopsided results in the first three games of the series, the battle between top-10-ranked University of Wisconsin-Whitewater and rival UW-La Crosse boiled down to closing out the closest game of the 4-game set Sunday afternoon in WIAC baseball at Prucha Field.

Jack Hagen earned his first save of the season, getting the final three outs to preserve the Warhawks’ 4-2 triumph over the No. 8, d3baseball.com-ranked Eagles and helping the top-ranked Warhawks win three of the four weekend games.
