SPEARFISH, S.D. – After cruising through the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference, the Black Hills State women’s basketball finally hit a roadblock on Thursday.
The Lady Yellow Jackets struggled offensively and lost to Colorado Mesa, 57-41.

Bradie Schlabs led BH with 11 points followed by Morgan Hammerbeck with 10 points and Gracie Haneborg with seven.
Black Hills State now drops into a tie for first in the RMAC with a 7-2 conference record and 11-5 overall.
The Yellow Jackets will host Western Colorado on Saturday, Jan. 25.
SD Mines men’s basketball team snaps a seven-game losing streak
RAPID CITY, S.D. – The streak is finally over.
The South Dakota Mines men’s basketball team won for the first time since Dec. 3, as the Hardrockers defeated Western Colorado on Thursday, 72-61.
Keagen Smith led the Hardrockers with 19 points and four rebounds.

South Dakota Mines will entertain Westminster on Saturday, Jan. 25.
