St. Bonaventure vs. Rhode Island
St. Bonaventure is struggling in the second half of games, averaging just 34.3 points per second half this season—ranking 327th in the country. They also lack depth, with no healthy bench player averaging more than 3.2 points per game. However, they are 46th in the nation in points per possession allowed away from home. Rhode Island ranks 99th in points per possession allowed and excels at defending the three, holding opponents to just 25.3% from beyond the arc at home (third in the country).
Pick: Under 144 (Greg’s Handicapped Total: 139.5)
Robert Morris vs. Cleveland State
Cleveland State ranks ninth in the country in turnovers forced per possession, while Robert Morris struggles with ball security, ranking 280th in turnovers committed per possession. Additionally, Robert Morris’ defense declines significantly away from home, ranking 59th in points per possession allowed at home but dropping to 157th on the road.
Pick: Cleveland State -3.5 (Greg’s Handicap: Cleveland State -6)
VCU vs. George Washington
Both teams boast elite defenses, with George Washington ranking 29th in points per possession allowed and VCU ranking sixth. George Washington plays at a moderate pace, ranking 164th in total possessions per game, but they average over three possessions per game fewer at home than on the road.
Pick: Under 141 (Greg’s Handicapped Total: 135.5)
Florida State vs. Wake Forest
Wake Forest ranks just 229th in points per possession on offense and 349th in 3-point shooting percentage. Florida State holds a rebounding advantage, as Wake Forest ranks 244th in rebound percentage, while Florida State’s defense is 24th in road 2-point shooting percentage allowed.
Pick: Florida State +7 (Greg’s Handicap: Florida State +3.5)
