Samford ranks 15th in the nation in turnovers forced per possession and 38th in 3-point shooting percentage at 37%. VMI ranks 343rd in points per possession at home and 360th in offensive rebound percentage, grabbing only 17.6% of their missed shots.

Both teams rank in the top 90 in possessions per game.

North Carolina A&T vs. Northeastern
North Carolina A&T suspended top scorers Ryan Forrest and Landen Glasper seven games ago. Since their first loss without them (83-62), A&T has allowed 72 points or fewer in every game. They were outside the top 300 in points per possession allowed before the suspensions but have since gone 3-3 in their last six games, losing all three losses by 10 points or fewer.
