We are one just one day away from Selection Sunday and the action is getting better all the time.
With most favorites delivering earlier in the week, we have plenty of marquee showdowns on Saturday as the majority of conference tournaments wrap up.
Top-ranked Duke will again be without star Cooper Flagg as it tries to finish off its ACC season with a tourney title to go along with its regular-season title. Auburn, Florida, Houston and Michigan State are all in action as well as contenders vie for the top seed line in the NCAA tournament.
The run started in the first half and extended Michigan’s lead to as big as 49-34 before Maryland finally hit a 3 to stop the bleeding. Big start out of the break for the Wolverines.
Halftime: Florida 47, Alabama 45
Plenty of scoring in this one as the Gators take a slight upper hand into the locker room.
Update: Cooper Flagg expected to be available for NCAA tourney
An NCAA official says he’s heard Flagg is expected to play in the Big Dance despite his ankle injury, and that won’t affect Duke’s seeding the the tournament.
“What we understand from communication with Duke and the ACC is that Cooper Flagg will be available for the NCAA tournament.”

This one has been close throughout, but the Wolverines head into the break with a little bit of momentum after scoring the last 7 points of the first half.

The Terps have a slight advantage inside the 8-minute mark of the first half thanks to 6 early Michigan turnovers.

South Carolina State loses to Norfolk State in jaw-dropping fashion
The MEAC championship was tied with just 10 seconds left in the game after South Carolina State got a steal and a bucket, but an intentional foul on the ensuing possession gave Norfolk State free throws and the win.
Norfolk State earned an NCAA tournament bid with the win.
Final: Tennessee 70, Auburn 65
The Vols hold on for a huge win after a furious rally by Auburn in the final minutes of the game. Zakai Zeigler led the way for Tennessee with 20 points, 4 rebounds and 4 asists. Johni Broome led all scorers with 23.
The Vols advance to the SEC final to meet the winner of Alabama-Florida.
Wisconsin wins it!
The Spartans had a chance to tie the game at the buzzer, but John Tonje got a piece of the ball on Jeremy Fears Jr.’s last-gasp 3-point heave.
Wisconsin back up 3 after 2 free throws from John Tonje. Just 14 seconds left.
Auburn down 3 in final minute
The Tigers have rallied to within a possession with a minute left.
Wisconsin only made 1 free throw on the next possession and Michigan State made both of theirs, so the Spartans are down 1 with 14 seconds left.
Michigan State hits 2 foul shots, still down 2 with 22 seconds left.
Wisconsin up 4 with 30 seconds left after loose ball foul on Michigan State and 2 free throws.
Auburn mounting comeback
The Vols were up by 12 just moments ago, but multiple turnovers and poor shot selection has allowed the Tigers to climb back into it.
Auburn is on an 8-0 run and down 64-60 with just under 5 minutes left.
Big Ten semi coming down to the wire
There isn’t much separating the Spartans and Badgers now. It’s a 1-point game and there’s just under 2 minutes left.
