Veesaar, standing 7-feet, 235 pounds, is coming off a breakout redshirt sophomore season for Arizona, earning honorable mention All-Big 12 honors. He averaged 9.4 points, 5.1 rebounds, and 1.1 blocks in just 20.8 minutes per game and appears poised to take another leap for a UNC frontcourt that desperately lacked size last season.
