College basketball’s top 10 incoming international players: Dame Sarr, Luka Bogavac lead 2025-26’s newcomers

International imports are rising in college basketball as top European prospects flock across the Atlantic to capitalize on massive NIL deals. A handful of overseas prospects — including Duke‘s Dame Sarr and North Carolina‘s Luka Bogavac — will help define the 2025-26 college basketball season.

National college basketball analyst Isaac Trotter helped 247Sports to compile a definitive list of the top 10 international prospects for next season. Players were required to have played overseas last season to qualify for these rankings. Foreign-born players who competed at the NCAA level in 2024-25 were excluded. Trotter delivered scouting reports on each top-10 prospect while team insiders offered insights into roles for next season.

Eight of the top 10 prospects are committed to Power Five schools, with four joining the ACC, the most of any conference. The top-ranked uncommitted international prospects, Neoklis Avdalas and Ben Henshall, are currently navigating the NBA Draft process. Both are seen as strong candidates to withdraw and compete in college basketball next season.
