Few teams dominated the offseason news cycle to Michigan’s extent. It is not often that a head coach wins a national championship and departs days later for a new job, but Jim Harbaugh left his post atop the Wolverines program shortly after he guided his alma mater to its first CFP title and first national crown of the 21st Century. The investigations into recruiting violations and sign-stealing only perpetuated the interest in the program, and the coaching change to Sherrone Moore, disappointing season and upset win over Ohio State kept the Wolverines relevant from Jan. 1 to now.
