NC STATE WOLFPACK

Offensive coordinator: Kurt Roper

Defensive coordinator: D.J. Eliot

NC State opted against retention of both of its coordinators in search of a fresh start. Quarterbacks coach Kurt Roper elevated to offensive coordinator. The Wolfpack went with another experienced mind on the other side of the ball, hiring 27-year coaching veteran D.J. Eliot as the new defensive coordinator.

STANFORD CARDINAL

Co-Defensive coordinator: Andy Thompson

Troy Taylor added a familiar face to the Stanford coaching staff for 2025 — along with new general manager Andrew Luck. Andy Thompson, who succeeded Taylor at Sacramento State in 2023, now reunites with his former mentor as the assistant head coach, co-defensive coordinator and linebackers coach.

VIRGINIA TECH HOKIES

Offensive coordinator: Vacant

Defensive coordinator: Sam Siefkes

After four seasons in the NFL and coaching experience across FBS, FCS, and Division III, Sam Siefkes steps into his first role as a power conference defensive coordinator. He inherits a Virginia Tech defense that ranked third in the ACC for points allowed in 2025, despite coordinator Chris Marve being dismissed in mid-December.

WAKE FOREST DEMON DEACONS

Offensive coordinator: Rob Ezell

Defensive coordinator: Scottie Hazelton

New Wake Forest head coach Jake Dickert took an unconventional approach to assembling his 2025 staff. He tapped Rob Ezell, a former Alabama player and assistant under Nick Saban who spent the last four years at South Carolina as the Demon Deacons offensive coordinator. For defensive coordinator, Dickert opted for experience, reuniting with Scottie Hazelton, a coaching colleague from their North Dakota State days in the late 2000s.
