RUSTON — Louisiana Tech football has released its full 2025 schedule as Conference USA announced the eight-game league slate on Thursday afternoon.
Coming off their first bowl appearance since 2019, the Bulldogs will face six teams at Joe Aillet Stadium in 2025, with the other six matchup on the road. LA Tech will welcome four CUSA foes to Ruston including New Mexico State, WKU, Sam Houston, and Liberty along with Southeastern Louisiana and Southern Miss in non-conference play.
Tech will make CUSA road trips to UTEP, Kennesaw State, Delaware and Missouri State, along with non-conference road matchups versus LSU and Washington State.
The Bulldogs open the 2025 season with back-to-back games against in-state opponents with Southeastern at home on Aug. 30, before hitting the road to Baton Rouge on Sept. 6 to face LSU. This will be 39th meeting between LA Tech and SELU, while it’s the 21 meeting between LA Tech and LSU.
The Bulldogs will play two consecutive home games after returning from Baton Rouge as CUSA play begins on Sept. 13 with New Mexico State coming to town. LA Tech will welcome Southern Miss for the 54th all-time meeting on Sept. 20, before resuming CUSA action with a trip to El Paso to face UTEP on Sept. 27.
LA Tech will start October with a bye on Oct. 4, before traveling to Kennesaw for a Thursday night contest on Oct. 9. The Bulldogs will have a second bye the following week on Oct. 14 followed by two consecutive home Tuesday night game against WKU (Oct. 21) and Sam Houston (Oct. 28).
Tech will travel from the East Coast to the West Coast to start the month of November, while finishing the season in the Midwest. The Bulldogs will face new CUSA foe Delaware for just the second time in program history on Nov. 8 in Newark followed by the programs first ever trip to Washington State on Nov. 15.
The Bulldogs will close out their 2025 schedule with a home game against Liberty on Nov. 22, followed by the season finale at new CUSA member Missouri State on Nov. 19.
The schedule is subject to change, with kickoff times and the broadcast schedule to be announced at a later date.
