College football rankings: Most overrated, underrated teams ahead of playoff top 25

While the rest of the Big 12’s upper-tier teams have been falling victim to upsets and varying levels of inconsistency, Colorado is streaking. The Buffaloes won four straight to move into the driver’s seat at the top of the conference with two games to play. If Colorado takes care of business against Kansas and Oklahoma State, the Buffaloes are in the league championship game with a potential playoff berth on the line. And there’s not a team in college football inside the top 20 with a more potent quarterback to wide receiver combo than Shedeur Sanders and Travis Hunter.

“We don’t care about that,” Sanders said earlier this month, via Buff Stampede. “Every game is a playoff game to us. It has been that way all season. I think Shedeur made a comment early on, at the Big 12 (Media Days), that every game we play is like a darn Super Bowl to people. Not only to them, but to us, and it is. So that’s the way we are going into it. Every game is a playoff, a single elimination tournament. And we plan on approaching all of them with passion, with purpose, with consistency, with focus, and that dog like attitude.”
