College football recruiting: 5-star CB Jorden Edmonds headlines this week’s Power Four commits

Recruiting background: A 6-foot-2, 170-pound wide receiver out of Akron (Ohio) Archbishop Hoban, Payton Cook committed to the Cardinals over Power Four offers from Boston College, Indiana, Kentucky, Maryland, Miami, Michigan, Pittsburgh, Purdue, Rutgers, Tennessee, West Virginia and Wisconsin, among others. Louisville wide receivers coach Deion Branch was the primary recruiter for the three-star wideout. Cook is the 12th commitment for Jeff Brohm’s program in the 2026 recruiting cycle.

Recruiting background: A 6-foot-4, 220-pound tight end out of Chanhassen (Minn.) High School, Kade Bush committed to the Razorbacks over offers from Kansas State, North Dakota State, Utah State, Washington State and Wyoming. His recruitment was spearheaded by Arkansas tight ends coach Morgan Turner. Bush is commit No. 11 for head coach Sam Pittman and the Razorbacks in the 2026 recruiting cycle.

Recruiting background: A 6-foot-1, 275-pound defensive lineman out of Port Orange (Fla.) Spruce Creek, Chadwicke Cannon committed to the Blue Devils just a few days after landing an offer from the program during an unofficial visit to Durham. He also holds offers from West Virginia, Florida Atlantic, Georgia Southern, Navy, Tulane and UConn, among others. Duke special teams coordinator and defensive tackles coach Gabe Infante was the lead recruiter for the Sunshine State product, who becomes the fourth commitment for the Blue Devils in the 2026 recruiting cycle. Cannon recorded 71 tackles, nine tackles for loss and 1.5 sacks over 12 games during his junior season, per MaxPreps.
