Recruiting background: A 6-foot-5, 305-pound offensive tackle out of Belle Glade (Fla.) Glades Central, Javarii Luckas committed to the Gators over offers from West Virginia, USF, Miami and Penn State, among others. Florida assistant offensive line coach John Decoster was the lead recruiter for the in-state prospect, while offensive line coach Rob Sale also assisted in the recruitment. Luckas is commit No. 11 for head coach Billy Napier and the Gators in the 2026 recruiting cycle.

St. Thomas Aquinas, Dylan Steen committed to the Bulldogs on the heels of an official visit to Starkville over offers from Colorado, Kentucky, Ole Miss, South Carolina and West Virginia, among others. Mississippi State offensive line coach Phil Loadholt was the lead recruiter for the Sunshine State product, whose older brother and fellow offensive lineman Blake Steen is set to join the Bulldogs as a transfer from Virginia. The younger Steen brother is commit No. 14 for head coach Jeff Lebby and his staff in the 2026 recruiting cycle.

Recruiting background: A 6-foot-3, 210-pound edge defender out of Orlando (Fla.) Dr. Phillips, Maurice Jones Jr. committed to the Bulldogs following an official visit to Starkville, becoming the 13th commitment for Jeff Lebby’s program in the 2026 recruiting cycle. He also held offers from Appalachian State, Charlotte, FIU, Florida Atlantic, Southern Miss and UMass, among others. Mississippi State defensive coordinator and inside linebackers coach Coleman Hutzler was the lead recruiter for the Sunshine State product, while defensive ends and outside linebackers coach Vincent Dancy also assisted in the recruitment. In 12 games as a junior, Jones logged 54 tackles with eight tackles for loss and four sacks, per MaxPreps.
