Brown emerged as one of the top overall FBS playmakers this past season, rushing for 1,181 yards and 15 touchdowns on 4.8 yards per carry.

He finished the year with a 90.8 PFF grade, which ranked sixth among all FCS running backs last season, and won the Jerry Rice Award, given annually to the top freshman in the FCS.

He’s rated among the transfer portal’s top 25 running backs. Teams in need of backfield help — including Miami and Cal — are expected to make a run at the Freshman All-America, according to Hummer.
