Simpson-Hunt struggled to find playing time in two seasons at Ohio State, logging six snaps as a freshman in 2023 and 23 during the Buckeyes’ national championship run this past fall. The 6-foot, 204-pound defensive back out of Waxahachie, Texas rated as a four-star prospect in the 2023 recruiting class. He was the No. 7 corner, No. 89 overall player and No. 16 player from his home state.
