The 2025 College World Series field has been cut in half.
Originally, eight teams qualified for the CWS double-elimination tournament, but half the teams have been sent home from Charles Schwab Field in Omaha, Nebraska. Semifinal action kicked off June 18 with No. 13 Coastal Carolina and Louisville facing off in one semifinal and No. 3 Arkansas and No. 6 LSU in the other.
After sending 13 teams to the NCAA baseball tournament, the Razorbacks and Tigers are the last two standing. Only one can move on to the championship series. Meanwhile, Coastal Carolina represents the Sun Belt and Louisville the ACC.

College World Series bracket 2025
The 2025 CWS is broken into two four-team brackets. Oregon State, Coastal Carolina, Louisville and Arizona composed bracket one. The second bracket had Arkansas, LSU, UCLA and Murray State.
The Beavers and Wildcats have been eliminated from the first bracket, with the Chanticleers taking on the Cardinals in a semifinal matchup. In bracket two, the Razorbacks and Tigers square off in the semifinal with the Bruins and Racers eliminated.

The CWS begins on June 13 at Charles Schwab Field in Omaha and will continue through June 22 or June 23, depending on whether the “if necessary” Game 3 for the CWS finals is needed.

The 2025 College World Series will continue to be broadcast on the ESPN family of networks. Of the 17 possible games, 15 will be broadcast on ESPN. ESPN carried one “winner’s bracket” game on June 15 and ABC will carry Game 2 of the championship series on June 22.
Streaming options for the CWS include the ESPN app (with a TV login) and ESPN+, ESPN’s subscription streaming service.
