The College World Series continues with Day 4 action on Monday in Omaha.
The CWS moves the spotlight to Bracket 2 for the 2nd games after the bracket opened action during Day 2 of the CWS on Saturday. The matchups feature Arkansas and LSU, the only SEC teams left standing in the NCAA Tournament, continuing their runs after facing each other to begin the CWS.
College World Series Day 4 schedule
Here’s what the schedule looks like for Day 4 in Omaha:
- No. 3 Arkansas vs. Murray State | 2 p.m. ET | ESPN/ESPN+
- No. 15 UCLA vs. No. 6 LSU | 7 p.m. ET | ESPN/ESPN+
Arkansas wound up on the wrong side of the SEC showdown with LSU on Saturday, with ace Zach Root giving up 3 early runs in a 4-1 win by the Tigers. Murray State was done in by a 4-run inning from UCLA on Day 2, with the Racers falling just short after an 8th-inning rally cut the final score to 6-4. The winner will advance to another elimination game vs. the loser of UCLA vs. LSU, while the loser will be eliminated.
In the nightcap, the Bruins and Tigers will face off with one team getting the chance to start 2-0 in Omaha in reaching the national semifinals. LSU is now the favorite to win it all at +120 in the latest College World Series odds produced by DraftKings, and an upset by UCLA would shake up the bracket.
