More than a month remains in the college baseball regular season, but the best teams in the nation are already separating themselves. As usual, the College World Series odds favorites reside in the Southeastern Conference.
Led by No. 1 Texas, the SEC has four of the top five teams in this week’s D1baseball top-25 rankings. Those teams are also near the top of the College World Series odds betting markets, with Tennessee, Arkansas and LSU leading the way.
The top teams face off in SEC play this weekend, including Alabama at LSU, Georgia at Vanderbilt and Auburn at Texas. Before the first pitch in those series, let’s look closer at this week’s College World Series odds.

The last five national champions have been SEC teams. Three of those champions faced another SEC team in the College World Series finals.
So, it should not be surprising that the top five teams in the College World Series odds are SEC teams.
Reigning national champion Tennessee leads the way with odds as low as +400 at bet365 Sportsbook and BetMGM Sportsbook.
Arkansas and LSU are the only other teams with single-digit odds. The odds for both teams range from +500 to +800.
The odds for Georgia and Texas at the best online sportsbooks are similar. Once you get deeper than that, the College World Series odds for most teams are all over the place.
For instance, Auburn is available at +2600 at FanDuel Sportsbook and +7000 at bet365. Alabama has +2000 odds at bet365 but +3700 odds at FanDuel.

Tennessee (31-5) flexed its powerful muscles by going 20-1 in non-conference play. Since SEC play began, the Vols have series wins over Florida, Alabama, South Carolina and Ole Miss. Their only series loss was to Texas A&M, in which the pitching staff gave up 26 runs in the second and third games.
Tennessee has the third-best ERA in the country (3.19) and has hit the second-most home runs (86) behind Georgia (98) despite having only one player in the national top 50 (Andrew Fischer, 14).
Following this weekend’s series against Kentucky, the Vols finish the SEC schedule with series against LSU, Auburn, Vanderbilt, and Arkansas.

LSU (31-6) has been a household name in college baseball for decades. The Tigers rank second all-time with seven national championships behind USC’s 12. LSU’s last title came in 2023.
The Tigers’ strong reputation has carried them into contention for another title this season, but they’ll need to do better on the field. They have conference series wins over Missouri, Mississippi State, and Oklahoma but went 1-5 in series against No. 1 Texas and No. 8 Auburn.
LSU will have a chance to prove itself in its next four SEC series against Alabama, Tennessee, Texas A&M, and Arkansas.

Auburn (26-9) has won four of five series against SEC teams, including Vanderbilt and Alabama. The Tigers made waves last weekend with at three-game sweep of LSU. They can keep riding that momentum this week when they travel to Austin to take on No. 1 Texas.
The Tigers have their work cut out for them the rest of the way. After the Longhorns, Auburn must face Mississippi State, Tennessee, and Ole Miss.

Alabama (29-8) has struggled with consistency in conference action, going 8-7 overall.
The Crimson Tide started strong with a three-game sweep at Texas A&M and notching a win in their series opener at Tennessee. It’s been mostly downhill since, including back-to-back series losses to Auburn and Mississippi State.
Alabama can get back on track this weekend at LSU. After that, the remaining SEC schedule is relatively forgiving, including a series against Missouri and Florida.
