Since Vanderbilt defeated Michigan in 2019, the last team standing in the College World Series has come from the Southeastern Conference.

That streak can be extended by the end of the night.

No. 6 LSU looks to close out the 2025 College World Series with a victory over No. 13 Coastal Carolina on June 22 at 2:30 p.m. ET at Charles Schwab Field Omaha in Omaha, Nebraska.

The Tigers took a 1-0 lead in the best-of-three championship series less than 24 hours ago with a 1-0 win over the Chanticleers. Top five projected pick Kade Anderson once again dazzled on the mound for LSU as he mowed through Coastal Carolina’s lineup one hitter after another, as the junior southpaw struck out 10 through nine complete shutout innings while giving up just three hits and five walks.

Coastal Carolina is playing off a loss for the first time since April 25, and is looking to force the “if necessary” Game 3 of the CWS finals with a win.

Here’s a look at the schedule for the CWS on June 22, including matchups, start times, TV channel information and more:
