No. 6 national seed LSU and No. 13 Coastal Carolina, the latter of which is undefeated in the postseason, will face off for the national title in Omaha, Nebraska.

The Tigers are looking for their second national championship in three seasons, whereas the Chanticleers are looking to go 2 for 2 at the College World Series and come away with a national championship in their second CWS appearance (and first since 2016).
LSU coach Jay Johnson has history with Coastal Carolina, having coached against the Chanticleers in the 2016 national championship series when he was at Arizona.
