OMAHA, Neb. (WIS) – The Coastal Carolina baseball team is looking to capture its first national championship since 2016 this weekend.

The Chanticleers will face LSU in the finals of the College World Series in Omaha. Coastal is riding a 26-game winning streak heading into the best-of-three series, while LSU completed a comeback against Arkansas late Wednesday to advance.

Coastal Carolina (56-11) vs. LSU (51-15)

Coastal is in the CWS finals for the first time since winning the national championship, while LSU also returns for the first time since winning a national title in 2023.
