Cowboy Baseball Releases 2025 Schedule – Oklahoma State University Athletics

STILLWATER – Oklahoma State’s 2025 baseball schedule includes 55 games, highlighted by 29 home contests and five Big 12 Conference series at O’Brate Stadium.

The Cowboys are coming off a 42-19 season in which they made their 11th consecutive NCAA Regional appearance, the nation’s fourth-longest streak, and won the sixth Big 12 title in program history by claiming the Big 12 Championship crown for the fourth time. It was OSU’s third-straight 40-win season, and it finished the year ranked as high as 14th in the national polls.

Led by two-time All-American Nolan Schubart, OSU returns six position players who started at least 37 games last season.

Head coach Josh Holliday has put together a challenging non-conference slate highlighted by a pair of top-tier tournaments and strong midweek competition that includes a Bedlam showdown against Oklahoma on April 15. OSU ranks second nationally in average RPI over the last five years, and the 2025 schedule will continue that tradition of facing top competition.

OSU will once again open its season in the Lone Star State at a familiar ballpark as the Cowboys will play in the Shriners Children’s College Showdown at Globe Life Field in Arlington, Texas. The Pokes will take on Clemson in the season opener before facing Louisville and Texas to conclude the weekend.

Following a midweek contest against Texas State at Globe Life, the Cowboys will return to Stillwater for their home opening weekend as they host UT Arlington in a three-game series Feb. 21-23.

A return to Texas for four more games is up next. The Pokes will face Abilene Christian at La Moderna Field in Cleburne before appearing in another loaded tournament field when they travel to Houston for the Astros Foundation College Classic to take on defending national champion Tennessee, Texas A&M and Mississippi State Feb. 28-March 2 at Minute Maid Park.

Ten of the Cowboys next 11 games are scheduled for O’Brate Stadium, with OSU welcoming Winthrop (March 4-5), Illinois State (March 7-9) and North Dakota State (March 18-19) to Stillwater.

That span also includes a midweek road date at Dallas Baptist (March 11), and the Cowboys’ Big 12 opening weekend as they host West Virginia March 14-16.

Along with the Mountaineers, OSU will also take on Kansas State (April 4-6), Houston (April 18-20), UCF (May 2-4) and Arizona State (May 15-16) in conference play on its home field.

The Cowboys’ conference road series include trips to Utah (March 21-23), Kansas (March 28-30), Arizona (April 11-13), Cincinnati (April 25-27) and Baylor (May 9-11).

The 2025 Big 12 Baseball Championship is scheduled for May 21-24 at Globe Life Field and will be a single-elimination format. NCAA Regional play begins May 30, with Super Regionals set for June 6-9. The College World Series will be held June 13-23 in Omaha, Neb.
