With Zach LaVine (thigh) doubtful to play Thursday vs. the Timberwolves, is Ayo Dosunmu a viable asset on DraftKings?
Zach LaVine ($7,100; thigh) has missed the Bulls’ past two games. Initially, the former All-Star was listed as questionable for Thursday’s tilt with the Timberwolves, but he has since been downgraded to doubtful. That should open the door for Ayo Dosunmu ($5,300) to once again join the starting lineup.
Is that enough to make him viable on tonight’s three-game slate? Let’s dive in.

PG/SG Ayo Dosunmu, Chicago Bulls vs. Minnesota Timberwolves, $5,300
The biggest factor to consider with Dosunmu is price. When LaVine sat for the first time back on Monday, Dosunmu moved into the starting five with a salary of just $4.5K. After registering 40.25 FPTS in that contest against the Jazz, Dosunmu somehow saw his price tag drop to $4.4K on Wednesday. The guard did end up burning owners, as he produced a paltry 18.25 FPTS, yet the underlying numbers tell a more positive story than the surface ones. Yes, Dosunmu was limited to only six points on 2-for-13 shooting, but the fact that he was tied for the team-lead in field goal attempts says more going forward than the conversion rate. Playing huge minutes for the squad that sits first in the NBA in pace is nice, too. I’ll be going back to the Dosunmu well this evening.
