DURHAM, N.C. – Following the program’s second ACC Tournament Championship, Duke baseball has announced the 2025 schedule, which features 39 home contests and eight teams that appeared in the 2024 NCAA Tournament.
The Blue Devils finished the 2024 campaign with 40 wins, the second 40-plus win season in program history under head coach Chris Pollard, and secured its second ACC Championship.
Duke opens the 2025 season at newly renovated Jack Coombs Field, hosting Big 12 foe Cincinnati for opening weekend. The Blue Devils continue a stretch of 17 of the first 18 games being played at home to start the season, welcoming UNCW (Feb. 18) and Cornell (Feb. 21-23) to Durham, before traveling to Campbell (Feb. 25) for the first road trip of the season.
Following the first road contest of the season, Duke returns home to Jack Coombs Field to close out the early portion of the season, hosting Liberty (Feb. 26), Northwestern (Feb. 28 – Mar. 2), and North Carolina A&T (Mar. 4).
To open league play in 2025, the Blue Devils welcome new conference opponent California to Durham, hosting the Golden Bears (Mar. 7-9), before a double midweek with George Mason (Mar. 11-12). The first road weekend series sends the Blue Devils to the West Coast, traveling to the second new addition to the ACC, Stanford (Mar. 14-16), for a weekend slate.
As March heats up for Duke, they return home from the West Coast to host 2024 Norman Regional opponent UConn (Mar. 18) before traveling to 2024 Charlottesville Regional host and Omaha participant Virginia (Mar. 21-23). The month of March concludes with two in-state opponents: the Blue Devils host East Carolina (Mar. 25) and Omaha participant NC State (Mar. 28-30).
April begins inside Jack Coombs Field on April 1, hosting Davidson, before the Blue Devils and Tar Heels (Apr. 3-5) square off in Chapel Hill. A midweek with William & Mary (Apr. 8) and Campbell (Apr. 9) at Jack Coombs Field, sends Duke to Miami for a meeting with the Hurricanes (Apr. 11-13).
Duke returns home to open an 11-game home stand, welcoming Appalachian State (Apr. 15), Pittsburgh (Apr. 17-19), Gardner-Webb (Apr. 22), Virginia Tech (Apr. 25-27), Radford (May 4 DH), and Queens (May 6). The final road stretch spans four games, as a trip to Clemson (May 9-11) and Liberty in the midweek (May 13) close out the season. For the year’s final weekend, Duke hosts Georgia Tech (May 15-17) at Jack Coombs Field.
The 2025 ACC Tournament will be held in Durham, N.C., as the Durham Bulls Athletic Park hosts the conference championship. The tournament begins on May 20 and spans to May 25.
