This week is shaping up to be a banger for football fans and gamers. EA Sports is counting down to the much-anticipated Gameplay Deep Dive, set to premiere on June 20. The complete game will launch on July 10. If you pre-order the Deluxe or MVP editions, you can get early access starting July 7.
But that’s not the only hype right now. Everyone is getting ready for June 20 because the game company recently launched a campaign promising, “2,800+ new plays and formations are at your fingertips.” The tweet also added, “The countdown to the #CFB26 Gameplay Deep Dive starts now.”

According to EA’s official trailer and early previews, College Football 26 will feature:
- 2,800+ new plays and formations
- 84 player abilities and 10 new archetypes
- A dynamic Wear & Tear system that tracks fatigue and injuries in real time
- Enhanced AI, blocking logic, and crowd atmosphere across all 136 FBS schools
If you think that’s all, let this change your mind – Today, Madden NFL 26 just dropped its own Gameplay Deep Dive, introducing exciting new features like QB & Coach DNA, Football Weather, and shared systems such as Wear & Tear.
The response has been overwhelmingly positive, and now, the College Football version must match that level because players are bound to compare the two games.
