The entire college football season culminates here. Atlanta is the first city to repeat as a host destination for college football’s biggest game. While we eagerly await which teams will make it, there will be plenty of events to enjoy all weekend surrounding the big game.
The 2025 College Football Playoff National Championship
It all comes down to this to decide who will take home the College Football Playoff (CFP) National Championship trophy. Mercedes-Benz Stadium will be packed with football fans ready to experience the biggest college football game of the year.
Tickets are still available for purchase to attend the College Football Playoff National Championship, but even if you don’t attend the game, there are plenty of activities happening during the weekend to celebrate and experience the hype.
When: Monday, Jan. 20 at 7:30 p.m.

Here’s the full schedule of things to do.
Media Day
Fans are invited to watch both teams and their coaching staff handle media interviews before the big game. The Cotton Bowl champion will be there from 9-10 a.m., and the Orange Bowl champion will be there from 10:30-11:30 a.m. From getting to see your favorite players to listening to interviews, it will be an exciting event to kick off the weekend. Playoff Fan Central
This interactive experience gives thousands of fans the chance to be a part of the CFP National Championship. This family-friendly event will feature games, clinics, pep rallies, band performances, special guest appearances, autograph signings and exhibits celebrating college football and its history. AT&T Playoff Playlist LIVE!
Experience the ultimate soundtrack of the College Football Playoff National Championship. On Saturday, Jan. 18, rapper Lil Wayne will perform with hip-hop musician GloRilla and R&B superstar Muni Long. Sunday, Jan. 19, features pop powerhouse Camila Cabello with British singer-songwriter Myles Smith and Nashville-based singer-songwriter Knox. Tickets are available for each concert and can be purchased here. Doors open at 6 p.m. at State Farm Arena on Saturday and Sunday.

Trophy Trot
The official road race of the CFP includes a Trophy Trot 5k/10k. Speed through downtown Atlanta while enjoying live entertainment, activities with race sponsors and a post-race awards ceremony. All proceeds will benefit Extra Yard for Teachers, which is the College Football Playoff Foundation’s primary platform that elevates the teaching profession by inspiring and empowering quality teachers. Taste of the Championship
This is a foodie’s dream. Enjoy gourmet food and beverages from Atlanta’s most notable restaurants and breweries while celebrating teachers across the U.S. Proceeds from the event support the College Football Playoff Foundation and its Extra Yard for Teachers platform. Allstate Championship Tailgate
This is the place to be before the CFP National Championship game. This extreme tailgating experience will feature interactive games, sponsored activations, concessions, live ESPN broadcasts and performances.
