Enormous college baseball fight leads to game being suspended

An on-field fight during a college baseball game Tuesday wound up getting so out of hand, it forced the game to be suspended.

Things kicked off at the end of the 11th inning of Tuesday’s NAIA game between Mobile and Spring Hill College. After Spring Hill shortstop Seth Williams popped out to the catcher, he and Mobile pitcher Isidro Jimenez appeared to exchange words.

Several Mobile players then charged in, and a free-for-all began. While it is tough to see what happened, a scrum ensued, and numerous punches were thrown by both sides.
