ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler is very in-tune when it comes to the rumors going around with the NFL Draft and what a player’s stock is. One of the more interesting prospects in the 2025 NFL Draft is Ole Miss quarterback Jaxson Dart.

He isn’t in the top 2 quarterback race with Cam Ward or Shedeur Sanders, but there are many people who think he has a chance to be a first round pick.

However, there are also some concerns on Dart, according to Fowler.

“They don’t necessarily think that he is a surefire first-round talent based on their grades, but they could certainly talk themselves into it,” Fowler said, via BleacherReport. “He’s got a big skill set. He can make the throws. He’s a big, sturdy guy. Some of the concerns teams have are with late in games and big games he struggled at times, particularly that Florida game where he had multiple turnovers late. So, there’s some concerns there.”

The game in question against Florida was right there for the taking, but Dart made some bad decisions and threw multiple interceptions late. That game ended up playing a big role in why the Rebels didn’t make it to the College Football Playoff.

For there to be only 2 quarterbacks drafted in the first round is definitely unlikely, especially with someone like Dart who does have a lot of things that scouts like. The talk on Dart doesn’t figure to slow down, and he will be one of the most talked about prospects all the way up until the draft.

The NFL Draft will be in Green Bay this year, and it will start on Thursday, April 24 and go through April 26.
