Guard
Stud
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Oklahoma City Thunder at Minnesota Timberwolves ($10,700) – Shai Gilgeous-Alexander has been a cornerstone for the Oklahoma City Thunder, consistently delivering high-level performances. Over his last five games, he’s averaged 28.0 points, 7.2 assists and 3.2 rebounds per game. In a recent victory against the Utah Jazz, he contributed 21 points, eight assists and three blocks, showcasing his all-around game. Facing the Minnesota Timberwolves, who have struggled defensively against dynamic point guards, SGA is poised for another strong outing.
Other Options – Cade Cunningham ($10,400)
Value
Nickeil Alexander-Walker, Minnesota Timberwolves vs. Oklahoma City Thunder ($5,000) – Nickeil Alexander-Walker has carved out a consistent role in the Timberwolves’ rotation, making him a viable value option at his price. Over his last five games, he’s averaging 27.4 minutes per game while contributing solid defensive stats with 1.5 steals per game. Facing an Oklahoma City team that plays at one of the fastest paces in the league, he should have ample opportunities to accumulate fantasy points. Additionally, with injuries affecting Minnesota’s backcourt, he could see an uptick in usage, making him an intriguing tournament play with upside.
Other Options – Davion Mitchell ($3,900)
Forward
Stud
Giannis Antetokounmpo, Milwaukee Bucks vs. Miami Heat ($11,100) – The Greek Freak continues to dominate the league with his exceptional play. Over his last 10 games, he’s averaging 55.8 DraftKings points, underscoring his consistent high-level production. His most recent game was an exception. He scored 30.5 DKFP. That number stands out as an outlier. Its an outlier because it was a foul-out failure. Antetokounmpo only played 19 minutes.
Other Options – Paolo Banchero ($8,600)
Value
Georges Niang, Atlanta Hawks vs. Detroit Pistons ($4,100) – Every dollar counts. Every minute counts. Niang is not a productive per-minute player (0.83 FPPM). However, there’s not much value on the board, so Niang is an option based on raw minutes and price. His floor is acceptable at this price and he has flashed upside in recent games with 38.5 and 35.5 DKFP in two of the last four games.
Other Options – Kelly Olynyk ($4,200)
Center
Stud
Jalen Duren, Detroit Pistons at Atlanta Hawks ($7,000) – It’s a toss-up between Duren and Naz Reid ($7,800). Reid benefits from a thin Timberwolves frontcourt but he’s more expensive and in a tougher matchup. Duren is cheaper and plays the up-tempo Hawks. Duren headed to the All-Star break with 49.5 DKFP on Feb. 12. He picked up where he left off on Friday with 52.5 DKFP.
Other Options – Naz Reid ($7,800)
Value
Wendell Carter Jr., Orlando Magic vs. Washington Wizards, ($4,800) – It’s the “Harry Potter Classic.” The Magic host the Wizards. The chalk has been summoned at center. Carter costs more but his minutes provide a secure floor. He was a lock on Friday and very close to being the same on Sunday in a matchup with the Wizards.
Other Options – Zach Edey ($4,600)
