Stud
LaMelo Ball, Charlotte Hornets at Philadelphia 76ers ($9,600) — The Hornets can move into third place in the East. Let that sink in. This is a winnable game and not the normal stat fest for LaMelo. The Hornets have won two in a row. Ball scored 50 and 54.75 DKFP in those wins. His 37.2% usage rate leads the NBA. That’s what it’s all about. Usage rate is king in NBA DFS.
Other Options — Shai Gilgeous-Alexander ($9,900), Kyrie Irving ($8,100)
Value
Spencer Dinwiddie, Dallas Mavericks at Denver Nuggets ($3,100) — His minutes look great at this price. His stats do not. An 0-for-6 night from behind the arc will do that. Dinwiddie could assume a larger role if Luka Doncic ($11,500) is out. Doncic can suit up and Dinwiddie is fine. He’ll still get at least 20 minutes running the second unit. That works at the near minimum.
Jared McCain, Philadelphia 76ers vs. Charlotte Hornets ($4,200) — Tyrese Maxey is out. McCain took over the second unit backcourt. He played 30 minutes in Friday’s blowout loss. The 76ers could struggle with the Hornets with Embiid suspended. A blowout would result in plenty of second-half action for McCain. This isn’t a pure punt for minutes and salary savings. McCain took 17 shots and scored 18 points in Friday’s loss (25.25 DKFP).
Other Options — Kentavious Caldwell-Pope ($3,700), Isaiah Joe ($3,300)

Stud
LeBron James, Los Angeles Lakers vs. Toronto Raptors ($9,800) — JJ Redick’s system in L.A. could revitalize LeBron’s career. James never fell off. He let off the gas. His approach is different in 2024. James posted a triple-double in the Lakers’ much-needed win over the 76ers on Friday. The Lakers need to take care of business against the Raptors. James has scored over 50 DKFP in four in a row.
Other Options — Paul George ($8,800), Jalen Williams ($8,000)
Value
Peyton Watson, Denver Nuggets vs. Dallas Mavericks ($4,400) — The Nuggets got young and haven’t dropped off at all. Their former first-round draft picks are starting. Christian Braun ($5,200) posts a highlight clip every night. Watson has played over 30 minutes in three straight. He scored 29.3, 25.8 and 28.8 DKFP in those contests.
Other Options — Klay Thompson ($5,300)
Center
Stud
Nikola Jokic, Denver Nuggets vs. Dallas Mavericks ($11,800) — The Joker is on the slate. The Joker is in most DFS NBA lineups. Nothing ever changes. Jokic is playing 40 minutes per game in November. Denver doesn’t care. He’s cleared 60 DKFP in every game this season. His season average is a ridiculous 69.8 DKFP.
Other Options — Anthony Davis ($10,600)
Value
Guerschon Yabusele, Philadelphia 76ers vs. Charlotte Hornets ($4,300) — It’s rare that a player averaging 20.3 DKFP per game is $4,300. He’s played over 17 minutes in five of the last six games. With Embiid out, Yabusele has stepped into the second-unit rotation. Spelling old man Andre Drummond ($7,000) could result in some run with the starters. The Hornets will again be missing Nick Richards and Mark Williams. This is an undersized frontcourt that can be attacked.
Other Options — Daniel Gafford ($5,000)
