Final Transfer Rankings: Where Indiana basketball commits landed in 247Sports’ final update

Indiana basketball is still very active in the transfer portal as new head coach Darian DeVries assembles IU’s roster for the 2025-26 season. The Hoosiers are currently at seven transfer commits and one freshman signee for a total of eight scholarship players currently. Several more additions will come as the offseason unravels, but Indiana appears to be in a good spot right now with over half its roster filled.

On Wednesday, 247Sports released its updated and final transfer rankings with the portal officially closing. More portal entries will pop up and be announced in the coming days as schools have 48 hours to process transfer paperwork, but as of Tuesday night players can no longer enter the portal. There is no deadline for when transfers must commit by.

Indiana’s transfer portal haul currently ranks No. 7 nationally according to 247Sports. Led by former West Virginia forward Tucker DeVries, the No. 21-ranked transfer, and former Sam Houston guard Lamar Wilkerson, the No. 48-ranked transfer, the Hoosiers are bringing in a strong group of experienced newcomers.

Outside of the top-50, Indiana still has multiple players ranked highly. Reed Bailey, a Davidson transfer, landed as the No. 65 overall transfer and and No. 10 power forward transfer. Troy transfer point guard Tayton Conerway and North Florida transfer wing Jasai Miles were tabbed at No. 107 overall and No. 114, respectively. DePaul transfer point guard Conor Enright rounds out the group at No. 197 overall, while Drexel transfer combo guard Jason Drake has not been ranked yet.

Texas A&M commit Mackenzie Mgbako and Maryland commit Myles Rice cracked the top-100 as the No. 67 overall transfer and No. 93 overall transfers, respectively.

Only Kanaan Carlyle remains uncommitted, but is reportedly down to McNeese State, UAB and Florida Atlantic.
