First-round pick Colston Loveland will wear No. 84 this season.
He was one of eight Bears draft picks who received their jersey numbers Thursday, one day before the Bears will open their three-day rookie minicamp at Halas Hall.
Loveland, the Bears’ No. 10 overall pick, will take over the number used by veteran tight end Marcedes Lewis the past two seasons. He wore No. 18 at Michigan, a number that belongs to Bears quarterback Caleb Williams.
Wide receiver Luther Burden III, the Bears’ second pick, will wear No. 87. Tight end Jesper Horsted wore the jersey in 2022.
Former Boston College tackle Ozzy Trapilo will wear No. 75, which was made famous by Kyle Long, the Bears’ three-time Pro Bowl offensive lineman from 2013-19.
Defensive tackle Shemar Turner, the former Texas A&M star, will wear the No. 95 that DeMarcus Walker donned the past two seasons.
Center/guard Luke Newman will wear No. 65, cornerback Zah Frazier will wear No. 20, linebacker Ruben Hyppolite II will wear No. 47 and running back Kyle Monangai will wear No. 25.
