
AMARILLO, Texas (KFDA) – Two high school football players and three high school boys soccer players from West Plains High School signed their letters of intent to play their sports at the next level.
From the WPHS football team, seniors Will Grisham and Brody Bobo both signed with Hardin-Simmons University.
The two will join a successful Cowboys squad that went undefeated in the regular season.
The Wolves had an incredible season on the football field, making it all the way to the state semifinals for the first time in program history where they fell to the eventual state champions in Celina. The team was also outright district champions after going undefeated in district play.
On the soccer squad, Clayton Hudson signed with Hardin-Simmons, Jaiden Cervantes signed with McMurry University in Abilene, and Andrew Chavel signed with Carolina University in Winston-Salem, N.C.
The soccer team made it to their second playoffs in school history, falling in the bi-district round.
