Florida baseball live scoring updates, start times, how to watch for SEC away series vs. Ole Miss

Florida baseball will look for its first SEC win this weekend in a trip to Oxford and top-15 Ole Miss. Here are live score updates and how to watch this weekend.

In college baseball, teams receive a punch in the mouth every season. Sometimes, the punch comes earlier than expected.

That is the situation Florida baseball finds itself in.

Southeastern Conference (SEC) play began on March 14 for the Gators. When they ventured to Tennessee, UF was ranked in the top 10 and headed towards another potential Omaha season.

Two weeks later, Florida is without a conference win and suffered a disastrous home sweep to rival Georgia by a combined score of 40-13. Tuesday, UF blew another ninth inning lead and fell to fellow rival Florida State in Jacksonville on a walk-off grand slam. It’s its worst SEC start since 2001.

All this has given the Gators seven straight losses to Power 4 teams and in desperate need of a win. Fortunately, Florida is playing its lowest-ranked SEC opponent so far.

UF heads to Oxford and No. 15 Ole Miss for a three game series from Thursday-Saturday. The Gators have won four in a row over the Rebels, including a sweep in 2023.

Ole Miss (19-5, 4-2 SEC) lost two of three to No. 2 Arkansas, but it responded with a nice road sweep at Missouri. The Rebels other losses came to No. 16 Southern Miss, No. 7 Texas and South Alabama.
