The final Florida football player left unsigned after the 2025 NFL draft is now officially a pro.
The first Gators alumnus selected — wide receiver Chimere Dike, who was taken with the No. 103 overall pick by the Tennessee Titans — signed his rookie contract on Friday. He is projected to receive nearly $5.3 million in compensation over four years and will receive a signing bonus totaling almost $1.1 million, according to Spotrac.
Dike led the team in receptions (42) and racked up 783 receiving yards and two touchdowns while playing all 13 games in 2024 after transferring from the Wisconsin Badgers for his final collegiate campaign. He also excelled as Florida’s primary punt returner, averaging a league-best 16.5 yards per return in SEC play, and provided leadership as one of the team’s captains.
Across his college career, the 6-foot-1-inch, 196-pound pass-catcher totaled 139 receptions for 2,255 yards and 11 touchdowns while also contributing as a return specialist. Dike offers versatility, leadership and big-play ability and will be a nice addition for a new-look Tennessee offense led by Cam Ward, who beat the Gators last fall in the Swamp with the Miami Hurricanes.
