On3’s Pete Nakos has new details on how Pribula settled on his new home in the SEC. While surely not the sole reason for the decision, the transfer portal insider reports that the former Penn State quarterback is getting a seven-figure NIL package from the Tigers.
LSources tell On3 that the quarterback’s NIL package with the Tigers will pay him $1.5 million in 2025, on par with starting SEC quarterbacks,” Nakos writes “Missouri edged out Iowa, UCF and Ole Miss to land the quarterback. Pribula has an On3 NIL Valuation of $1.3 million.
“A year ago, the top quarterbacks landed one-year financial agreements ranging between $750,000 to $2 million, led by Cam Ward and Riley Leonard. Those numbers have continued on the uptick in this cycle. Sources tell On3 that Jackson Arnold’s deal with Auburn is in the same range as Pribula’s.”
Pribula is on track to be Missouri’s opening day starter under center with this year’s starter, Brady Cook, done after this season.
“Backup Drew Pyne still has two years of eligibility remaining, but he’s struggled throwing for three touchdowns and three interceptions in six games this season,” Nakos said.
