The Texas Tech football team continues to add to its 2026 recruiting class.
The Red Raiders received a commitment from Forney receiver Imari Jehiel on Monday through social media. Jehiel is ranked a three-star prospect by 247Sports and held offers from power-conference programs such as SMU, Houston and TCU.
Listed as a 6-foot, 185-pounder, Jehiel accumulated 616 yards and seven touchdowns on 26 catches during the 2024 season. Jehiel also competes in track, where he recorded a high jump of six feet last year.
Jehiel is the 14th commitment to the 2026 recruiting class for Texas Tech and is the first receiver of the bunch.
