LAWRENCEVILLE — The No. 3-ranked Georgia Gwinnett College baseball team tallied 28 runs on Saturday to pick up a pair of wins and cap a successful three-game season-opening weekend sweep.
The Grizzlies defeated Midway University (Kentucky) 15-4 in seven innings before collecting another seven-inning triumph 13-3 against Huntington University (Indiana) at the Grizzly Baseball Complex. The team scored 39 runs in winning all three games during the weekend.
