
Six teams will take the field at Texas Rangers’ Globe Life Field from Feb. 13 through Feb. 15, 2026.
ARLINGTON, Texas — Six college baseball teams will come to North Texas next year to take part in the 2026 Shriners Children’s College Showdown.
The college showcase will be played from Feb. 13 through Feb. 15, 2026 at Globe Life Field, home of the Texas Rangers.
“The Shriners Children’s College Showdown continues to be one of the nation’s premier college baseball events,” said Jared Schrom, Senior Vice President of REV Entertainment. “We’re proud to welcome these elite programs back to Globe Life Field to open the 2026 season, and honored to support the impactful work of Shriners Children’s.”
Arkansas, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, TCU, Texas Tech and Vanderbilt will play in 2026. All six teams have previously competed at Globe Life Field. Arkansas (No. 8) and Vanderbilt (No. 9) are featured in D1 Baseball’s latest top 25 rankings.
Arkansas (9-3 all-time at Globe Life Field) returns for the fourth consecutive year and fifth time overall. Oklahoma (16-10 all-time at Globe Life Field) is back for the first time since 2024. Oklahoma State (18-14 all-time at Globe Life Field), which has played more games at Globe Life Field than any other program, returns for its second straight Shriners Children’s College Showdown.
TCU (18-9 all-time at Globe Life Field) has played at Globe Life Field every season since it began hosting college games in 2021. Texas Tech (9-13 all-time at Globe Life Field) returns after also competing in the 2024 edition of the showdown. Vanderbilt (2-1 all-time at Globe Life Field) makes its second appearance at Globe Life Field, last playing at the venue in 2023.
Home Plate Reserved tickets on sale Tuesday, May 20 at 10 a.m. CT at GlobeLifeField.com. This deal includes: reserved seats behind home plate, reserved parking, early entry, discounts on concessions, souvenir hat and cup (with unlimited soft drink refills), and access to a private bar and restrooms. They cost $156 for adults and $84 for youth (13 and under), before taxes and fees.
General admission tickets will go on sale at a later date, officials said.
