Has Shedeur Sanders been picked in 2025 NFL Draft? Live updates, news, reactions as QB falls

The 2025 NFL Draft has reached day 3 and Shedeur Sanders still hasn’t been picked.

It’s been the buzz of the draft. The former Jackson State and Colorado football quarterback was projected by mock drafts as a potential top five pick. Instead, he wasn’t selected in Round 1 on April 24, nor in Rounds 2 and 3 on April 25.

Will Sanders get picked in Rounds 4-7 on April 26? Here’s what we know about Sanders, the son of Deion Sanders.

Why isn’t Shedeur Sanders getting drafted?

Even some of the NFL draft experts are puzzled as to why Sanders hasn’t been drafted.

Donald Trump, others react to Shedeur Sanders not getting picked

Sanders’ fall in the NFL draft has been a hot topic, even for celebrities outside of the sport.

“What is wrong with NFL owners, are they STUPID?” President Donald Trump posted on Truth Social before the start of Round 2 on April 25. “Deion Sanders was a great college football player, and was even greater in the NFL. He’s also a very good coach, streetwise and smart! Therefore, Shedeur, his quarterback son, has PHENOMENAL GENES, and is all set for Greatness. He should be ‘picked’ IMMEDIATELY by a team that wants to WIN. Good luck Shedeur, and say hello to your wonderful father!”
