ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) – ESPN is advertising the kickoff for the College Football Playoff National Championship game for 7:30 p.m. However, most fans know that with the pregame festivities, commentary and everything else, that’s not what time the game will start.

So what time is the actual kickoff for the College Football Playoff National Championship game?

We reached out to ESPN and they tell us the toe-to-the-ball kickoff time is 7:45 p.m. EST.

That is when Notre Dame and Ohio State University will play for the coveted CFP trophy.
