Indian River answers, Brylee Amato tickles twine, 3-1 South Jeff.
Kendra Staie gets that one back for South Jeff.
Spartans beat Indian River 21-1.

College baseball at JCC, the Cannoneers meeting Hudson Valley in a doubleheader.
Hudson Valley winning game 1, 15-2.
Game 2, JCC up 1-nothing in the top of the 4th when Brendan Connolly singles off the pitcher. Logan Norman scores, tying the game.
Then it’s Aidan Heffner with the single to left. Jameson Balich scores, 2-1.
Hudson Valley wins game 2, 7-3.
Gouverneur wrestler Zoe Griffith inked a letter of intent to continue her wrestling career at Presbyterian College
Grifith, a state and national champion on the mat, has won over 100 matches in her career and will now be taking her talents to the Division 1 level.
“They’re one of the best teams in the country. They’re top 5 in the country, so I think I can really succeed with them and I know that I trust in the coach to get me to the top,” said Zoe Griffith.
“A leader, a captain, a wrestler, but also like a coach, which was probably hard some days to come when you can’t compete but you’re helping others. That’s a testament to Zoe and who she is,” said Joel Baer.
