On Ticketmaster, the lowest admission price is approximately $1,500. However, the cost remains volatile and could either double or drop significantly as kickoff nears.
Tickets can be purchased through multiple platforms, including secondary sellers like StubHub, SeatGeek, and Vivid Seats. For example, Vivid Seats lists the cheapest option at $1,451.
Taking Travel Into Consideration
Traveling to Atlanta for the championship game involves additional costs. Flights to Atlanta the day before and after the event are mostly sold out. However, there are still options for those willing to travel a few days earlier or later. Southwest Airlines has responded to demand by adding more non-stop flights between Columbus and Atlanta, but seats are limited, with fares around $500 each way.
Driving is a practical alternative for fans from Ohio. The drive from Columbus to Atlanta spans approximately 600 miles and takes about eight and a half hours.
For those preferring to book last-minute, travel agent Voniessa Brownfield suggests waiting until arriving in Atlanta to buy game tickets. In an interview, she said:
“If you really want to go to the game to see this fantastic team, as you know, ride that wave that they are on right now and be a part of it, then you’ve got game tickets out there that are available and there’s probably going to be some they’re selling there.
“However, if you can go a couple days, you know, pre-the-game and stay a couple days later or just, I hate to say it, but just drive. You know what, just drive down and just get a hotel and then take your chances on getting your game tickets.”
Surprisingly, finding a hotel in Atlanta won’t break the bank. Many accommodations near the stadium are available for around $200 per night. Other costs to consider include meals, drinks, and transportation within the city.
The 2025 CFP Championship will take place at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium, home to the Atlanta Falcons and Atlanta United FC. This world-class facility previously hosted the 2018 CFP title game.
One aspect that sets the CFP Championship Game apart is its halftime show.
