No. 1 Auburn is joining No. 2 Michigan State in the Elite Eight.
The Tigers defeated No. 5 Michigan 78-65 in the Sweet 16 on Friday night, setting up what should be an epic Elite Eight matchup in Atlanta on Sunday between the top two seeds in the South Region.
Like Auburn, Michigan State overcame a second-half deficit to advance, eliminating No. 6 Ole Miss earlier on Friday.
