No. 1 Houston is joining No. 2 Tennessee in the Elite Eight.
The Cougars defeated the No. 4 Purdue 62-60 in the Sweet 16 on Thursday night, setting up what should be a defensive showdown in the Midwest Regional Final in Indianapolis on Saturday.
Houston’s Milos Uzan hit the game winner with 0.9 seconds left in the game after Purdue hit a three pointer with 35 seconds left to tie the game.
